Starting with learning the music I grew up with - The Beatles, I then branched out further to other styles and genres. Over the years as my music taste became more varied, I would learn songs from my favourite albums and would enjoy the challenge of something new. From Rock to Jazz, Funk to Metal, I have extensively studied many genres of music and playing styles, developing proficiency in as many fields as possible.
I first performed in School at various talent shows and in college, I began joining bands and performing to the public. Needless to say, I absolutely love playing live and I have performed with many different bands playing a wide variety of music.
Over the last few years, I have been gigging regularly with my two main bands: ‘Supernaut’ a Black Sabbath tribute band and ‘Shades of Seattle’ a grunge tribute band. Through these gigs, my understanding of performance and playing techniques has grown massively.

I have been teaching professionally for 10 years and have taught all varieties of students. I like to incorporate all my knowledge into my guitar lessons and my aim is to help students with any aspect of playing, whether you are a complete beginner or you are looking to improve on your ability. Lessons are tailored to your individual needs, with a mix of exercises, techniques and songs to help you achieve your goals.
I have taught all ages from 11 to 70 and have successfully helped many students learn to play the guitar proficiently.
